Every year, a small group of volunteers steps up early to get things moving, while many others wait to see if help is still needed.

If you’ve attended or enjoyed this event before and haven’t volunteered yet, this is your moment to be part of making it happen!

We still have several roles open, and most are just 1–3 hours.

Camping

General Information

  • Camping options are open, first come/first serve and the areas are marked
  • Fees to camp on “the other side of the fence” are $5 per vehicle
  • Generators are permitted, but restricted to use between 7am and 10pm
  • Above ground fire pits permitted
  • This is a very dry area and fire safety is a concern
  • If you bring wood, you must pack out anything not used when you leave

Amenities

  • Porta-potties are stationed on both sides of the camping areas and are serviced a few times through the weekend
  • There is no running water or electricity and cell service is spotty at best (the regulars can tell you the best place to get a signal)
  • Vendors will be onsite with archery equipment and supplies, clothing or crafts and all are cash only
  • There are no food vendors, so bring what you plan to eat

Pets

  • Animals are permitted, but they must be on leash or in pens at all times and owners must pick up after them.
Shooting
  • The Rock Shoot is a notorious arrow killer… Bring extras
  • This is a fun shoot, no score keeping
  • Traditional bows only with field points (no broadheads or compound bows)
Getting There

Directions

  • From Moses Lake, head North on Stratford Road towards “Stratford”
  • Turn right on Road 12NE, just past the fire station on the right
  • One mile after you cross irrigation canal bridge (just past Road M), turn left on dirt road
  • Road will be marked with a TBW sign… it is an easement road and crosses private property
  • Follow it northerly over 2 cattle guards for approximately 3 miles to site (on the right)

Things to Know

  • This is a very remote area, but you will pass by multiple properties driving to our site
  • There is no specific address and you will likely lose cell signal on the dirt road
  • This is a rough dirt road that can be pretty bumpy, but is safe for travel trailers (you’ll just need to drive slowly)
